Are Earrings Returnable?
Earrings can be returned but because of hygienic reasons I will have to replace the ear wire so there will be a $4 charge ($8 if sterling silver).
Can Custom Orders or Items Bought on Sale or Altered Be Returned/Refunded?
No -- custom orders, items that have been altered at buyer's request, and items bought on sale or with a discount are all final and there are no returns for refunds
Who Pays Shipping Costs for a Return
All shipping costs for any return are paid by the buyer. The item should be properly wrapped and packaged so to prevent any damage, and mailed with a tracking number which is provided to seller.
Are There Any Requirements for Getting a Refund
To be eligible for a refund, the buyer must contact seller within 3 days of the delivery date (date item was received) requesting a refund and the item must be mailed back within 7 days of the delivery date. The item must be returned in the same unworn and undamaged condition that it was originally shipped out by the seller.
If a package mailed by seller using the mailing address provided with the order (by the buyer) is for any reason undeliverable by the post office and returned to seller a refund will not be given.
A refund cannot be issued for an item that gets lost in the mail coming back to me and is never received, or arrives back to me damaged due to inadequate packaging on the part of the buyer.
How long does a refund have to be requested?
To be eligible for a return/refund, the buyer must contact me via etsy messaging within 3 days of the date item was delivered and provide the reason the items is to be returned
What amount is refunded back in the event of a return?
Buyers are responsible for payment of all return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value to the item.
The amount refunded will be the price for the item the buyer was originally charged less $1 to cover restocking/etsy fees incurred by the shop owner. Shipping costs paid by buyer on original order will not be refunded. There is also a deduction for returned earrings ($4 gold or silver; $8 if sterling silver).
